It is high time it had gotten such turn-around, which was promised long before, and the ghost district needs re-vitalization and gardens to bring life back into it. However, the district should not be rented out or made contemporary just yet. I support the calls for the old architectural designs to be maintained and not "replaced". Just like the old Arabic comics of Batman and Superman, in the 1960s and 70s, the old buildings of Wadi Abu Jamil reflect the image of the good old Lebanon, and the district must only be reserved for willing Jewish expatriates, who might wish to return to their homes - one day; in sha'a-A alLah.
